We adopted a tiny dog. We bought a house. I'm painting really BIG paintings, and created a new fabric collection for Kokka in Japan. I've filmed 6 episodes of my new interview series, Creative Thursday{launching in July + can't wait!!} I've reorganized my studio space again, and I've moved my online home, blog, shop everything to creativethursday.com. And I've grown up ;)
Ok, so I've been stalling on writing this post. Mostly because writing it marks the end of an era in my business. Since my business, my art, is so much a part of me, that means it's the end of an era in my personal life as well. And while I'm ready and excited for this new time, it's also bittersweet. Knowing when to let go is tough. Usually though, if I'm being honest; knowing comes easy, the actual act of letting go is harder, and then comes something I've written about for years here at this blog ~ trusting that what's on the other side is going to be good. And that the timing is always right.
Maybe the best way to close this blog is to say: after working through this process in various incarnations via my many posts, podcasts and creations since 2006 - I get it now; the trust part is everything. And if there's any tiny part of me that is still tentative, I'm deciding to move forward, anyway, once again. And that is all.
One more time. Thank YOU from my heart, for following along with me, for all your support, and for all of the thoughtful comments and conversation along the way. While this is the end here. It feels like it's just the beginning for Creative Thursday.
