It's a Sewing Monday over here. I promised myself a creative day away from the internet as much as possible, so I will keep this brief.
If you remember I was quilting for the first time during my visit with Lizzy. I also promised I would share with you the final result of my first quilting/patchwork attempt: Viola the Cat. Comprised of mostly Lizzy House fabric from her Red Letter Day collection, oh and a little Lizzy Dish, {am enamored with her fabric}, a hand embroidered face on felt and my first ever hand made button. I did not know there was a little contraption to help you make those. Um, Hello! I see button making in my future.
And quilting, well not the precise kind, but more of the spontaneous kind is in not only in my future, bu it is in my right this very minute.
