Couple of things I want to say in regards to this one. It really is 3 am :). The idea was inspired by a yoga class with Leslie. She shared a "yoga" story with us at the beginning of class that had to do with a fish that was swimming calmly amidst the waters where 3 rivers were merging, with the idea being: how important it is to remain in a state of calm and gently swaying while all is moving about you. As an entrepreneur, I've found that waking various hours of the night comes with the territory, sometimes caused by anxiety, often an idea in the making... I used to fight it, toss and turn, end up cranky the next day. I recently heard that if you are woken up early in the morning, these can be some of the best moments for inspiration. I like this interpretation and I tend to agree, so now I get up and paint and sometimes these odd little paintings, often some of my favorites, come forth where sleepy little characters appear. like this one flower @ 4am. is anyone else up this early?
