Oh, my I couldn't resist painting this little fellow. Have you seen him at the Berlin Zoo? He is one of the cutest little things I've ever seen. And this German song and video....oh, too much cuteness!!!

Today's painting is inspired by a new book I just picked up by one of my all time favorite designers, Tricia Guild. It is called Pattern. If you've ever wondered where my sense of color, especially strong color, was initially inspired; First by the very talented Marty Sears, the first interior designer I worked for who also introduced me to this endlessly talented designer and author Tricia Guild owner of Designers Guild. Let me just say, I LOVE her new book!
Also, on an important note today Happy 1st day of Spring and HAPPY BIRTHDAY Holly!
